Question regarding LC transfer from another person

There is an approved Labour Certification with my company which was filed in June 2000. The lawyer for my company says I would not be able to use it since I recieved my MS in August of 2000 (2 months after the LC was filed). I was under the impression that LC is for a future hire, and should not be tied down to the specifics of when exactly the person got his/her degree.

Is the lawyer mistaken or do can i really not use this LC?

Very good question....

In my opinion u r right.

But there is catch, you have to show work experience after you have recieved your MS. Let's say approved LC is based on Master's with 2 year's of experience then u should have the same (MS and 2 year's of experince from the day u graduted) to be even considered.
