I have posted this question in other folders on this forum but with no luck. Hopefully someone can answer the questions I have below...
Background:
I filed for Adjustment of Status on July 2nd and changed home address after filing on July 22.
I have filed change of address using AR-11 to Dept of Homeland Security. Now that I have received receipt #’s from USCIS Ctr in Nebraska I contacted the service # for updating the home address so that I could receive the fingerprint notice and EAD cards etc at correct address. I was informed that they no longer change address via phone and that I had to do it online at USCIS homepage. I have changed the address online on pending I485, I131 and I765 petitions for both my wife and I.
Questions:
Q1) I have signed up online status update and found that on August 14th there was an update (LUD) on all pending petitions. As my notice date is Aug 9th I am assuming that last update on Aug 14th might be when USCIS mailed me the fingerprint/biometric notices. Hence, there is a chance that I might miss the notice and it will be returned as undelivered back to USCIS. How can I find out if notice has been undelivered? Does it update online at USCIS case track page?
Q2) Should I proceed with an Infopass appointment at local USCIS office to enquire about the fingerprint/biometric notice? If I do will they have information I am looking for and share that information? Any other helpful suggestion will be most welcome.
Q3) I had asked the USCIS customer service person if she could tell me if my fingerprint/biometric notice had been mailed, she said she could not. Is that correct or was she just blowing me away?
Q4) Do the US postal service forward USCIS mail?
Q5) Will I get a confirmation of change of address via snail mail of the update in address done online at USCIS homepage?
