I have a question regarding DS-230. The question is that they have mentioned they need 10 year employment history. I want to know when my spouse goes for the interview, will he need to take employment letter from each employer he has worked in the past 10 years along with him. Please guide me on this issue. Also, if we have applied for non-immigrant visa in the past, do you think they look at the information of the non-immigrant visa along with the immigrant visa.

Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

No he won;t need to bring a letter from each employer that he'd had in the past 10 years. If he is a co-sponsor with you in his own case then they may required him to bring a letter from the last employer along with the paystubs of the last 6 month. The 10 year employment history is only for the DS-230, probably to give them an idea about what kind of jobs he's had in the past. About looking at information from a previous non-immigrant visa, I wouldn't doubt that they we'll look into it and maybe compare or something. They do all kinds of checks (background, financial, etc) I think that if the person is in their database of course they are going to look to that. Hope this helps.:)
