Question regarding changed (post-July 30th) I-485 form

Happy to have found this forum -- I'm having a hard time finding the answer myself. I'm a current US Citizen (by birth), and am marrying a girl from Taiwan on August 17th, 2007. She is currently a student here and has been studying here for 2 years. We thought we had all the immigration fees calculated and planned, until, in a panic, she informed me today that the fees will go up starting July 30th, most notably a $600+ increase in the I-485 fee.

However, upon further research, I believe the new I-485 fee includes fees needed for the I-131 (travel document) and I-765 (work permit) forms. Is this true? Do we still need to fill out the I-131 and I-765 documents in addition to the I-485? Will new PDF versions of these documents be available soon?

Thanks in advance for all responses. We're just hoping that this won't cost $1000 more than we planned.

The new fees for I-485 includes the fees for I-131 and I-485. That's the good news. The bad news is that the fees won't be any lower if you don't apply for AP and EAD. So either way you will pay the full fee, whether you apply for EAD and/or AP or not.
