I got my H1 B through my company a couple of years back and now it is time to apply for my sixth year visa, 5 years are over on it.
My question is this:
When my H1 was applied in 2003, my company was working out a small office.
After a year or so they moved to a bigger office and no one updated BCIS.
A few months ago, they moved to yet another office and again no one updated BCIS. All these three locations are probably 3 or 4 miles away from each other.
Now I'm worried as to what will happen when I apply for H1 extension through the same company. Will BCIS have a problem with it?
As a note, one lawyer told me that I have to apply for a new H1 petition after the office move, another said my company simply needs to file an AR-11.
Also, the pay stubs are still showing the old address (the address through which my initial H1 was filed).
I had the exact same issue earlier (in 2001 and 2002 and when I applied for revalidation in home country consulate, I had simply shown a statement from the CEO that the office had moved and there was no problem in the stamping)
What should I do in this respect
