i applied to green card on may and i got rfe stating that i need a joint sponsor.so my mother in law who lives in the same residence accepted to sponsor me.she get three kinds of income:
1.foster care income...60000
2.pension...9000
3.ssi income ...17000

so can i use the pension and ssi income for sponsorship which is 26000 and its above poverty line
i dont wanna deal with the foster care income because she is self employed the tax stuff is very complicated to understand and i dont wanna mess with it.

Like I said in your prior thread, that $60K is not her salary, it is money the state provides to care for the children, so it is not considered to be her income and she is not taxed on it. It should not be included on the affidavit of support.

But the pension and Social Security can be used.

yup but my question is that the all three incomes are mentioned in the tax returns(foster, social security, pension).but can i use only the social security and pension for the immigration requirement and show the proof of those requirements or do i have to prove all the incomes which are mentioned in tax forms.
