Question regarding 485

My priority date is oct 2003 and my 485 was filed june 2004. Senators office from my place called today and USCIS told all my namecheck and finger prints were cleared and my file was moved for examination. Does that mean a visa number was alloted or not. Do you guys know about it. Name check is cleared and what is this examination now.

R we going to see some approvals in july too??
 
from the news on these forums....some folks are reporting that during Infopass or by calling TSC they got the info "July Visa number assigned"....but one may never know...until it's approved...

Better ask the senator itself, if the visa number has been assigned....
