Question reg PP renewal

Hi,

I have 485 pending with NSC (140/EAD/AP approved) since March 2003. Passport for my daughter is expiring next month and I have to get new PP made thru Indian Consulate. I have two questions reg issue of New PP.

1. Do I have to update NSC with new PP info for pending 485 application of my daughter and if so, is there a standard form for that and
2. I continue to work on H1B and my daughter has H4 visa stamped on her PP valid till Oct 2005. After getting new PP, for travel do we need H4 visa again stamped on new PP or she can travel with visa on old PP.

When your spouce had a FP2 notice, did you do any enquiry for your FP2 ?

OR just waiting for ur FP2 notice ?

Old but valid visa should be ok. They usually stamp the old passport saying that - "this passport is cancelled but the visas are still valid".

I called USCIS several times for my FP2, but they said each case is unique and to have patience. I tried congressman and got reply back that i am in "line" for Fp2 . Now I am just waiting

I did not travel using the VISA on old passport but one of my friend has and it should not be a problem.

You have to carry both old and new passports while travelling. The visa in the old is still valid, but not the passport, therefore you will need to carry both passports.
