Hi,
I am applying for I140, 485, EAD and AP.
My office is around 15 miles from my residence but in two different
states ( I have to cross the state border to get to work).

while applying for 2nd and 3rd stages is it ok to live in a state
which is different from the state in which the green card
is processed (though the distance b/w house and work is less than 15 miles)

i am moving to this new place in a weeks time, so any information reqarding th same.

should be ok

You should be ok as long as it is in the same geographical area. Which is true as the difference is only 15 miles.

Don't think you need to worry. However I am not an attorney and my postings are just my thoughts/views.

You didn't tell us if both the states come under the same INS Service center. If they do, i dont think there would be major issues.
