Question re: e-filing of I-785

Hi guys,

I want to use BCIS's e-filing for EAD (I-785) to renew mine. Right now my current status I would say is "Adjustment of Status". Unfortunately I could'nt find anything that is relevant to this status from the Lists that is available when you select the "Current Immigration Status" when filling it up.

Can anyone shed light into this matter. I have browse through all the conversation here and couldn't find anything related to my question except for one which really didn't answer the question cause this person suggested to look for a code of "c9" which is not on the lists itself.

Please help me out guys.

Hi, Its 765, not 785, i know its typo, just clarifying for others.

(c)(9) was for the next field where it asks for "Please select your eligibility status"

For current status where they ask "Current Immigration Status: (Visitor, Student, etc.) "

It could be

1. DA: Advance Parole if you entered by showing your AP.
Or any of the following;

2. PAR
3. DE
4. DT
5. CH
6. OP
7. CP
8. ML

I myself feel confused here. Maybe you should call their 800 number.

The question is;
If you entered on H1B, and never went out, and then started working on EAD, you wouldn't call yourself a parolee then, right? So what are you? Adjustee? but there's no such thing in their list.
