Question Re: DS-230 Part -1 to Raju, Rajeev, CpDelhi and others

1. I don't see any place to indicate address (local address in India) to receive pkt-4, where do we need to indicate the address to receive packet-4? Is it by default sent US address indicated at item # 10?

2. Can I give a friend's address in item # 11 (where the GC will be sent)?

3. Do I need to fill up item # 3 (full name in Native alphabet)?

4. In case of kid's (4 and 10 yrs old) DS-230 part-1 form, can either parent sign it ?

6. Does NVC send pkt-3 by certified mail or first class mail, usually how many days to receive pkt-3, from the day it is sent?

{ Once your case goes to the Consulate send a mail with your
address in India. }

{ Not necessary. Just say -None- in that field }

{ Normally the father signs there.For my daughter I signed. I am not really sure
whether mother can sign here. But it should be OK,
unless they want the applicant (father or mother) to sign
there. }

{ I think they send by normal mail. Give it a week }
