Gurus,
How do I know if my 485 application was filed under concurrent rule or was it filed with 140 approval notice?
My 485 was sent to NSC on 9/9/02 and from AVM I found out that 140 was approved on 9/4/02. My lawyer did not inform me anything about 140 approval. Is there any way one can tell from 485 receipt notice that it was filed under concurrent rule?
Please advise....

You see what is your Alien No. in the I-140 approval notice and the Alien No. in the I-485 receipt notice. If they are different, you will infer that the I-485 was filed prior to the I-140 approval; but you need not worry--a major step forward has been taken and your fingerprint notice will gaive you the correct alien number for the green card. Best of luck!

From you Date you probably concurrent filer

Samir K Das is right regarding the A#. My 140 approval notice and 485/EAD/AP receipts share same A#. My 140 application and 485/EAD/AP application share another A# which was from my Optional Practicla Training. I planned for concurrent filing and 485 application was ready before 140 approval but was sent out late with a copy of 140 Approval Notice.
You may clear this with your attorney.
