I have the EAD and waiting for I485 approval.
Can I do a Self Employed job now? I am thinking of
doing that as weekend job? It will not be a W2 job, but rather
Self employed type.

I would appreciate your help.

I485 RD: 12/00, ND:01/01, FP 04/01 and PD: 02/17/1997 Yes it is.
 
EAD

I am the primary applicant in 485 process just got my EAD yesterday. Can I use to do part-time or week-end work anywhere to earn some extra money apart from my full-time job. Is anybody doing extra work on EAD? What type of jobs I can take? Your help is really appreciated. Thanks!

Shrey82, you can be employed by using EAD. So, Yes you can do
a part-time W2 based(Wage based) job.

My question was: Self-employed, here you do not get paid hourly
but a fee or charge for service/job. You will not get W2.
You get a 1099 type statement at the end of the year.

5thYearNSC - Thanks for your input. I wanted to check that is anybody there who is doing part-time job using EAD? I will be on EAD for my full-time work from Dec. but right now I just want to do some part-time contract or job using EAD.
