He got approved yesterday (sep 25th).

If there is an audit in progress and approvals have been suspended, how did he get his approval?

Does this mean that INS will still process approvals.

Please dont mistake me... I definitely believe usvictim's post is genuine.

I am only trying to understand the article about the audit and this posting.

I am not 100% sure about this, but I think the Audit will start on Sep 27, thats what I read on some other thread, I ll post the URL if I find it.

Also they say that Approval/Denials will not be issued through the Audit,But will continue to issue RFE's.

Also there is no mention of AVM or Online Status Checking, so I am guessing they should be updated as usual. as officers have enough workload assigned to them to carry them through the Audit period.

Correct me please if I am wrong

You are welcome, I got beat too the first time I read it. Only the second time around I got it.

Hope your Prayers from 08 Oct onwards continue to 18 Oct, and include long time sufferers like me.

I am very sure, Officers will be processing the cases...But the statuses of this case, if approved will only get updated on 8th Oct or near that date.....
So on 8th we shud see a deluge of approvals...
Lets see..how many get swept in the flood I expect to see the approvals......
