Question on Status Inquiry

Current processing date is past my reciept date. Some of my friends suggested me to ask my attorney to do a status inquiry

Can anyone tell me,

1. Is it something helpful ?
2. How long does it take to get a response?
3. If i get a response what kind of response it will be?
4. Does any of you know someone who has benefitted out of this?

AS per I know A BIG NO as NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO


They will come back and say your are case is assgined to officer you will hear back like this
incase of 765 ,131 --> 60 -90 days more than this officer can be says as DUMB
in case 485 ----> 365 - before the officer dies or retire

This is what i heard on my case ...

(I assume your ND is 04/25/2002, not 2004).

I was in a similar situation (except I didn't get an RFE). In my case, I believe the inquiry triggered the second FP. The answer to the inquiry that I received was very simple: we are still processing your case and have no idea when it'll be completed. You can find the exact text if you read any messages on that topic; they tell the same thing to everybody. The LUD changed as well. So you might as well give it a try.

You are right My ND is 04/25/2002. It was a typo,. Sorry

Is there a difference between we Initiating an Inquiry Vs our attorney initiating an inquiry? or Are they one and the same?

No idea. I don't have access to the lawer who filed my case (I'm still with the same company and they are paying for lawers, but employees don't have access to them), so I figured, what the heck...
