I had my stamping done yesterday at Manchester, NH.
The officer took my signature and (index) finger print. He took the courtesy copy of the approval notice, EADs and I-94s.
He placed a stamp on the passport which has the following description:
Processed for I-551.
Temporary Evidence of
Lawful Admission for
Permanent Residence
Valid until 9-14-2005.
Emplyment Authorized.
Below this my A #, EAC # were noted.
No signature and nothing mentioning that this is pertained to US Permanent Residency.
Is it acceptble to use for travel and airport transits in other countries? I need to travel sometime soon.
Any advises/experiences?
