Question on Selective Service

Hi,

I've a question on selective service. I came to US on an F1 visa before my 26th birthday. After that my stauts changed to EAD->H1->GC. I've never registered with the selective service. My question is, should I send "Status Information Letter" explaining why I haven't registered with the Selective Service? This is how it is explained in the Eligibility Worksheet (10.d). If I need to get this letter, where can I get it? Now I'm older than 26.

Go to www.sss.gov. Download "Request a Status Information Letter" application. Fill out the application completly and attach documentation (copies) on all your status in America till now. Would also be helpful if you attach a seperate sheet with your status every year you have been here with your comments. You should get a letter from them saying you are not required to register in about 3 weeks. Take that with you to the interview.
