I work in a small town 50 miles west of Philly and I’m in the undergoing my RIR. My lawyer tells me that I have to advertise in Philly but some other people have told me that I can place an ad in my "small" town newspapers as well as a paper that has a larger reading audience.
There is another city about 15 miles from where I work which would be considered big and my company wants me to advertise there as well as in my "small" town.
Would these two places be enough to prove to the INS and the DOL that my company has done enough to search for a US citizen for the job in question.
ALSO, how many days does the ad have to run in the newspaper and are there any other ways that I can prove to the DOL and INS of our efforts in the recruitment process?
