Question on RFE

Hello,

It would be nice if you can please give me with your insights on my current situation. Here are my case details:

PD: July 18th 2002 (current as per Nov visa bulletin)
Category: EB2
Service Center: NSC (Currently processing March, 2006)
Receipt Date on I-485: Sep 18th 2005
Finger prints done and EAD/AP have been approved.
RFE for Medicals for I-485 was responded on Sep 13, 2006.

It has been almost 55 days since we have responded to the RFE, there is no word on the Case status. Is this something that we have to be concerned about, normally how long does it take to Approve the case after RFE is responded, and the date is current.

Any feedback/info will be appreciated.

Best Regards

Take infopass appointment, 1) Get confirmation on receipt of RFE response at USCIS Service Center 2) If your PD is current, why it is not assigned to officer 3) Whether your FP check report and Name check reports are received from FBI

Thank you for your response

Thank you very much for your response.

I have never been to Infopass before, will the people at infopass have more information than a Customer service rep.

I have tried calling USCIS a couple of times, and they kept on saying wait for 60 days and would not even tell me if my namecheck is done or not.

Thanks in Advance.

Infopass is a appointment scheduling system. It would let you schedule an appointment with local USCIS service center. They could access USCIS database and could tell you information pertaining to your case. They were able to lookup information on my past cases.

Their website is http://infopass.uscis.gov/

I believe RFE response receipt should trigger change in online status message so it would be worth trying infopass to get peace of mind
