Question on Resuming Jobs after CP

Hello All,

During CP, we have to sign a letter that we would be resuming the job with the same Employer....

Question: How important is this ? Can we start a job at new place right away ?

Any Experiences... Advices on This...

3 to 6 months

You are supposed to work for about 3 to 6 months with the company who sponsored your GC. This condition is more enforceable by your sponsor company rather than by INS. If you are in good terms with your sponsoring company, then it shouldn't be a big deal. I am sure you can leave before the lawful end of the term but make sure that you are in good faith with the company.
