Question on renew EAD-please help

I just mailed out the EAD renew application, and just realized that I forgot to attach the orginal TOP portion of my privious EAD mailed letter, is this going to be problem for the renewing my EAD?

Did anyone forget to attach the top portion of the original letter but get approved and received his/her EAD card? I am very upset about meself. :(

Don't worry too much .... its not absolutely essential to attach the previous EAD mailer.
Seen many folks getting renewed EAD w/o that.

Could you please advise on documents needed for EAD renewal? E-File or paper which is better option?

From what I've read, paper file has less "complications"
 
I am working on EAD and my H1 (though is valid till Jan/2006), I don't think I can use it any more.

Please let me know what will be my current status in the 765 form - H1B or Pending AOS?

Also, does it matter in processing - if its H1B or EAD?

The day you started working on EAD, you lost your H status.

So your status is "Pending 485/AOS"

It doesn't matter if your status is H1 or AOS
