Question on Priority Date

Hi Friends,
I am new to I485 formum.My I-140 got Approved yesterday.My labour filed on 11/22/2003 and 140 and 485 filed on 07/20/2004.
Can you please explain me what is current processing date for I-485(Eb3)?
How is labour file date and I1485 file date relevant w.r.t retorgression date?

I-485 LUD - 3/24/2004 (FP recvd)

First of all, congrats on your I-140 approval. :)

Right now there are NO EB-3 cases being processed at all.
There are no visa numbers available for EB-3 until the new fiscal year. That is
October 2005. Until then no I-485 for EB-3's will be processed.

How is labour file date and I1485 file date relevant w.r.t retorgression date?

When the new visa numbers become available the date might be retrogressed again. In the JUNE 2005 bulletin the cut off priority date was June 2002. What that means is if your priority date is BEFORE or the cutoff date then they can process your I-485. If not then you have to wait until the PD is current for you. In your case your priority date is 11/22/2003. The date your labor was filed with the state.
