Question on Priority Date for EB3=April02. what is the impact on our case ?

Priority Date for India EB3 (employement basesd category) shows up as April 2002 in the following link: http://travel.state.gov/visa/frvi/bulletin/bulletin_1360.html


Does that mean all green card cases before that date will not be approved now eventhought there FP is done.? I filed my 485 in august 2004 and FP already complete. My labor priority date is August 2002.

Gurus please comment !.

I have the same question.

My labor priority date is end April 2002. But I recently completed my FP, even though my priority date for EB3 hasn't been reached.

Could I receive FP notice even before visa number is allotted?
 
PD doesn't have to be current to get a FP notice or to get the FP done.

But PD needs to be current in order to get the I 485 approved. All other processes will be continued based on USCIS timings.

Thanks Sankar ra .. that helps...

This means i may have to go for another EAD and AP extension... after 4 months.. It will be great if the priority dates in the visa bulletin move fast.

I 140 / I 485 : RD AUG 04.
I 140 / EAD 1 / AP 1 : AD : 10/04
FP : 2/25. LUD : 03/07 for FP received.
EAD 2/AP 2 : I may have to go for this???
