iam trying to bring my fiancee to US on a H1 Visa through a small consulting firm here. Its been 4 months and there been absolutely no progress on the application...iam hearing that H1 transfer itself is taking 6+ months . So i though of premium processing to expedite the process.
But the problem is : the consulting firm is too small and they have had no contracts for while. They are concerned that premium processing would result in Enquiries from INS and since they have no contracts with consulting bussiness being down, it would cause the H1 application to get rejected here.
If any one has gone through premium processing , could you please let me know if its true that INS would enquire more and request proof of contract etc to valid the need for premium processing?
