Question on Port of Entry with PIO

Do I have to carry my canceled Indian Passport along with PIO card while traveling to India? I did see someone mention about this in one of the post.

The port of Entry will be Bangalore. Any experience would be very much appreciated.

my kid situation is different, has us passport and PIO and we face no issues. I would say just carry indian passport (cancelled) also, and show in case they ask. Why take the risk of not carrying it when we have usually so much luggage and passport is only a few pages..
 
no need to take old indian passport. take the passport where u visa is stamped. also that oci booklet. your old indian passport is no more a document after it was cancelled.
