Question on Police Clearance

Folks - General question. I had lived in the U.S for close 1.5 yrs now on L1 visa. Should I get police clearance from U.S or from where I lived before coming to U.S ? This is required during my DV 2010 CP processing.

My wife is a primary DV 2010 winner from Asia

Yes, you should try and get police clearance from every country you had lived after attaining the age of 16 years, escluding the USA

NO, you don't need a police certificate from the U.S. It will be done automatically by the consulate.
