In my oath letter in the section below 'You must bring following with you'

There is only one check box between

1) This letter, WITH ALL .. (not specific checked on this)
X
2) Permanent Resident Card (not specifically checked on this)

a)Does the check mark apply for both?

b) Do I need to take my Permanent Resident Card with me?

c) What do they do with the GC?

There is a little offset on their printer. The same thing happened to my oath letter as well. Actually, just mentally move the "X" a little below to align with # 2). :D

Hi Takadigi,

but in that case X does not apply to 1st one :)

I hope that checkmark is common to 1 & 2 .. what say?

Ok, this is simple...

Take your appointment letter with the questions on the back filled in and signed (you can also do this on the day, just in case you get stopped for speeding on the way there!), and take your GC.

During the registration process, your GC will be taken, and the USCIS officer will ask you questions like "do you still support the constitution of the United States" and "have you been in any trouble with the police since your interview" etc, etc. Then you will be shown your natz certificate to check spelling, and finally you will take a seat and wait for the ceremony to start. At the end of the ceremony you leave with your new natz cert.

If you are like me, bring your entire N-400 file (the file you brought with you to the interview. Leave it in your car - just in case. Then bring your GC and your letter (with the questions filled out) into the oath ceremony. That way, if for some reason they pull a question out of the air, you are ready. I haven't heard of it happening, but, it doesn't cost anything.
