Question on N-400 form

Under Part 2: Information about your eligibility.
What should I put, if i have not yet completed 5 years on GC. Applying on the basis of 4 years and 9+ months.
 
If their is a gap in employment, what should i put under Part 6B on N-400 ? Do i need to fill in unemployed with a begin and end date ?
