Question on LUD ...

Hello,

LUD got changed to 08/09 on both 140 and 485 but no status change. I can't even hope that i will have an approval as i haven't even done my FP yet. Is this assumption correct that without FP, we cannot have 485 approved. Kindly let me know.

It can be two things...

1. They picked up your 140 and saw it was concurrent filing so they mailed the FP letters and put 140 back in the queue. Thus LUD for both 140 and 485 will change.

2. They have picked up your 140 for approval and sent FP for 485. This seems unlikely as it is against the Ohata memo.

We have seen many cases where the 485 was approved along with 140 when the 140 adjudication was taken up so I sure hope that is the case for you. Expected the unexpected with USCIS :D :D , keep your fingers crossed and keep us updated of the progress.

Option-3 : They picked your I140 and I485 and may need more information to process. They might even send an RFE. In such case you would see another LUD in next 3 - 4 weeks.
 
No change in LUD even after I got finger printed

Hi guys,
We are trying to find logic in the illogical workings of TSC. LUD on both my I-140 & 485 remain unchanged in Feb 2003 eventhough I got Finger Print notice in June 2004, Completed FP on 06/24/04. According to FBI hotline the results of finger printing was returned to USCIS on the same day. But I don't see any change in LUD on I-485 or I-140 even today.
At the same time, in this forum I have seen a person who got fingerprinted at TSC just a day before me has already got his approval for I-140 as well as I-485.
Strange are the ways of TSC :confused:

Every thing matches except the ND. My ND is Feb 12. I got the FP on the same day as you did and nothing changed online so far.

My LUD for 140 is 5/11/04, for 485 is 6/24/03.

My lawyer already sent 4th enquiry on 10th. Nothing seems to be working. My lawyer did tell me that for 4th enquiry they transfered her call to an officer not in TSC though and that officer asked for 60 days time.( I think is is because they don't want me to send another enq. after 30 days).

Well, just hope for the best.
