Question on leaving employer after getting GC based on NIW

My apologies in advance for rehashing a much talked about subject but I have not been able to find much information on my particular scenario:

I have been granted a GC based on a employer petitioned NIW EB2

I am aware of the board recommendations in relation to employment based GC and 6month to a year waiting period.

Does the same apply to a NIW case if employer petitioned?

So far few references I have seen mention that a NIW case is not based on an offer of employment, would the employer petitioned part change that?

also I am aware that I need to remain in the field that the NIW is based on, but for how long would that apply after receiving the GC?

Thanking you in advance for your advice

lack of responses leads me to believe I have either made a very naive or very difficult question... any thoughts on which it is?

thanks in advance

If your PR was based on current employer the same rules should apply. I haven't heard of a NIW EB2 (EB1). I take it the Labor certificate requirement was waved?

yeap you're right based on a NIW (National Interest Waiver) in essence you bypass the labour certification , therefore the GC is not based on a future job offer as with a LC case, this is the reason I am inquiring because I cannot find enough information on the web as to this type of a case

Thank you for your reply
