Question on Joint Sponsor & I-485 interview

Hello guys, I just had a quick question.

My friend was my wife's (USC) joint sponsor because she did not meet the income requirements.

Will my friend have to come to the interview when I go?

I have my friends 05,06, and 07 taxes, along with a proof of employment letter. Will this be enough at the time of the interview?

No.

Yes. Remember to take the W-2s and not just the 1040s. Most likely if you already sent this stuff with your application, they won't ask for it again. Good luck!

Great, thanks doc! I made copies of all his w-2s and 1040s so when I go to the interview I will take them just to be on the safe side.
