Situation:
- Apply for 485 on July 01, and change job _within_ my company in August.
- The new position was different from the old one, and I was advised to start a new LC. And once the new I-140\'s been approved, I could substitute in the 485 process.
- LC is taking too long and likely to miss the approval of the 485.
- Company lawyer suggests that it will be okay as long as I move back to the old job within 3 months.
Question:
- Sounds stupid but what if I ask my employer to change my job title back to the one used for the 485 application but remain in the current position after my AOS has been approved?
Anyone has done something similar or any suggestions would be deeply appreciated.
