Question on I-130 for my father

Hello again guys, I am sending my I-130 through my USC wife tomorrow and I am very excited. I had a question though, let’s say if everything goes well I get my Conditional Green card in a year, can I at this time do an I-130 for my father? And if so how long would it take? Also would he be able to stay in the country in the mean time or would he have to leave?

Only citizens can file I130 for parents. Citizens can concurrently file I130 and I485 for parents. Filing I485 gives a legal status of "AOS pending" to stay in USA.
