Hello everyone,

I'd like to go to China for a short visit in this August.

I have my Canada immigration approved and need to go to Montreal for landing very soon.
I 'd like to take this chance go to Montreal Canada for H1B visa stamping. Right now I have I-485 pending and I have my Advanced Parole approved. I entered into USA with F1 visa and is now with H1B but with no H1B visa stamping.

Instead of using Advanced Parole, I 'd like to keep my H1B visa and have a H1B visa stamping.

Is there any potential risk for me in terms of H1B visa stamping? If the H1B visa stamping get rejected or holding for security check, can I still be able to return to the USA with my Advanced Parole?

Thanks for your help.

Hello YY1

Unfortunately I do not have an answer to your question, and I hope someone else can answer it. I am though curious about why you want to use an H1B stamp rather than AP? I'm not fully aware but I thought the whole point of getting AP was to be able to travel.

Also, do be careful when trying to enter Canada as I have read on these forums that having an AP means you are very close to getting a US Green Card. This means there is a chance of one of your PRs (Canadian or US) being jeapordized as dual PRs is not allowed.

Hope everything works out for you.
