Question on H1-B renewal

My initial H1-B was for filed for software engineer, altough I have a Electrical Engineering degree. The lawyer convinced me that this was easier at the time.

Now, if I move to another company and the company renews my H1-B, will there be problems if the file as an Electrical Engineer, granted that I have a Engineering degree and that I have experience in the field as well (3 yrs.).

Job title depends upon job requirements and duties, not on the employee education/qualification.

Looks like you are working as an electrical engineer. I think it was mistake by your first attorney to apply H1 as a software engineer.

So what will the repercussion for that be if my new company files for a renewal as a Electrical Engineer?
