Question on FP

I am likely to get FP Notice any time soon. But my wife has left for India and she will be there for some time.

1. Can I go ahead and do FP for myself and reschedule for my wife?

This way at least my case will be approved before her. As she does not work, she is not in a hurry.

2. How does this impact in my processing time?
Will they wait until my wife\'s FP is done before approving?

or let me ask some stupid question ( sorry about this)
Can she do FP in Consulate in Mumbai while she is there?

Please help.
