Question on FBI name check

Hi everyone,

My interview is on may 17th. Is there any way I can find out if My FBI name check is done and received by USCIS. I am asking because I am afraid that I might get stuck with the name chck thing forever. Is there any number i can call and ask or what. thanks .

You need email (fbinncp@ic.fbi.gov) the National Name Check Office to inquire about the status of your name check. Please provide the following information: Name, Date of Birth, Alien Number, and your e-mail address.

They do NOT answer phone requests any more. I emailed them about 2 weeks agao, no reply yet.

Better to go visit the local office thru infopass. But recently I found out the local DO's computer is not exactly the same as in service center. But if it completed few months/days ago, you will know. The best way is to call your congressman/senator. For me, my congressman's office is so much helpful.

When local office told me my NC is pending, after my lawyer confirmed me it is cleared. I was so much worried and let my congressman's office find out about this. They talked to some one at the USCIS and told me it is cleared.
