Question on Early 2nd FP in NJ.

Finally some movement in my case, got 2nd FP notice for Feb 2004, yesterday. USCIS website displays the same old message.

Can you guys share any experience in going for an Early FP (before the scheduled date) in Hackensack, NJ?

I appreciate your replies.

early FP don't assure early approval

As you might have seen, its takes about 60 days minimum to touch the cases after the issue of 2nd FP and you will be done with your 2nd FP within 60 days.

I have heard generally NJ ASC's are over booked and they don't allow us to do early FP, but nothing wrong in trying.

Can you please post your exact RD Date and 2nd FP schedule date?

I know that early FP doesn't necessarily mean early approval. But if you do it early, one thing is out of your plate. Also I wanted to change jobs using AC21. I don't know if this is the right time. What do you guys say?

here's my experience for your information.

2nd FP was scehduled on 01/16/04 at Newark. did it on 01/03/04 (Saturday) afternoon; almost no queue for FP; took a couple of minutes to get in after talking to the guard.

changed job 2 months ago. changed address too.

just wait and pray.
