Question on birth certificate

All,
I have applied my 485 with birth certificate from Mandal Office (It is local government office for villages in ap-india) and affidavit from my parents. I heard from some one that birth certificate or non-availablity certificate is valid only from municipality and not from mandal. Is that true that only municipal issued is a valid birth certificate/non-availablity certificate.
Anybody been in this situation. Please post your experiences.
Anybody got RFE on birth certificate? If so can you please providie the details here.

I presume you had made affidavite as per stanard format .
If you have submitted affidavit. you are fine.
