My wife's I-485 was approved in Jan 2007, but we have not yet recieved the physical card as her Biometrics is not done yet. Since she has to travel outside US for couple of months, we just got her PP stamped with 551. We have placed many calls with customer service and they said they will schedule biometrics for her. But till date no letter of biometrics.
The question I have is if we recieve Biometrics while she is outside USA, will the Biometrics appointment provides multiple date and time to appear for biometrics or will that contain only one specific date / time to appear? We just don't want to miss out the appointment if it contains only one specific daate and time. She is planning to be outside USA for at least 2 months.
I know that normal fingerprint notice contains date and time to appear. If we miss that schedule we could go on any wendesday as long as it done before X month which is usually 4-5 months.
Please provide some insights into the Biometrics?
