Question on Beneficiary/Applicant Number

Hi All,

My employer has filed my I-140 and I-485 separately. Today I received notice of action for I-485 and realized that my Beneficiary/Applicant number in I-140 and I-485 are different.

I though it suppose to be same in both application but seems like it can be different. I’ll appreciate if anyone of you could give me some guidance in this matter.

[Please note that I’m not talking about Receipt Number that starts with EAC-xx-xxx-xxxxx]

Application no ?

There is no Application number related to I-140/I485. BCIS does provide Alien number that will be printed on your Green card if you are lucky to have one with less wait time .
