Hi.
I got my GC and stayed with the same employer. All official communication with INS (formerly) was through employer. Last week I changed employer and moved to a different state, and plan to file AR-11 change of address form on Monday. My wife who got her GC as my dependent will join me only after 4-6 weeks. Since I was the primary beneficiary of GC should I file her AR-11 along with mine or can I wait until she joins me and then file her AR-11. Thank you.

regards,

Since, technically, you would be following the letter of the law by filing hers separately, that makes more sense.

Joef,
I have a related question. Does a AR-11 form need to be sent to INS if I am only changing employers and Not address?

It is strictly for keeping a database on the whereabouts of non-citizens living here. Every non-citizen regardless of status supposedly has to file the AR-11.

whenever you change your address you also have to let the local ins office know that you have moved IN ADDITION to filing the AR-11.
