Question on Approving I485 w/o dependent FP....

FD : 3/07/99

My wife\'s fingerprint has been rejected (due to poor quality). It\'s been 5 months and no schedule yet. Will ins approve my greencard without her fingerprints or ins will require both our FP before approving?

If you are primary applicant, your application will be approved without any second set of FPs.
you need to wait for INS to send new FP appointment for your wife. That can delay her approval but not yours.
Also to answer your other question,u can change given the situation that current employer is supportive.
Make sure that your new employer is ready to give letters if needed to prove the successor in interest
or so to say that you will be doing similar work as in labor on permanent basis!
Advise is not to change address if possible so that u can avoid ref and subsquent issues.
