Hi Everyone,
I have been poring and reading a lot of these threads since this morning. Wow, I learned so much that I didn't know yesterday!
I am a Filipina citizen married to a US Citizen (or USC as you guys here call it).
I entered the country in 2007 on a Q visa.
Switched to an F1 visa in May of 2008, was granted the visa until December of 2011.
I stopped school in November of 2008 but did not leave the country.
I got married in December of '09 and did not file for my AOS, AP and EAD until July of 2010. We DIY'd it.
I am scheduled for my biometrics on October 4, 2010.
My question is this:
I want to go home to the Philippines for Christmas of 2010. Suppose I receive my AP by November, and only an interview date, should I travel out of the US?
I am scared that I will trigger the 10 year ban. (I only found this out through these forums! Thank God I looked first!)
Any help would be appreciated.
