Question on AP form, please help

1. What Application type do I need to check in case of AP renewal and I-485 pending? Looks like there is no obvious choice:
a) I am permanent or conditional resident of U.S. and I am appying for rentry permit
b) I now hold U.S. refugee or asylee status...
c) I am permanent resident as a result of refugee or asylee status...
d) I am applying for Advanced Parole to allow me to return to the U.S. after temp. foreign travel
e) I am outside the U.S. and am applying for an AP
f) I am applying for AP for another person...

d - seems to be an only choice but sounds somewhat confusing...
 
Other questions

I am really not sure what to type in the following fields:

- Date of inteded departure (mm\dd\yy)
- Expect length of trip

How an explanation letter should look like? What could be the "qualifying" reasons for requesting AP?
 
I have very recently applied for renewal of AP

Write a covering letter mentioning that I-485 is pending ,

Option D is right.

- Date of inteded departure -> 05/01/2003 (your wish)
- Expect length of trip - months

Documents to attach:

1. Application
2. Money Order or Check for $110
3. latest photos 2
4. Copy of I-485 receipt
5. Copy of recent / current AP
6. Copy of I-94 (front and back)
