Question on ADIT photos

Can anybody tell me if the ADIT photos that are needed to taken when we go for stamping are the same as the one's we submitted for 485, EAD and AP filing.

Please do tell me or point me to where I can get the information. I did a search and got nothing - maybe my key words were incorrect.

The same as side profile - half face with right ear visible. I guess that is what is the ADIT style.

My approval notice also says that the picture should have a white background and should be unmounted and on thin paper. What would unmounted and on thin paper mean?

This is what got me confused. I suppose the regular poloroid should be ok. Am I correct?
 
When it comes to saving a couple of bucks.....well, if you have put in thousands of hard earned $$$$ already. Why put up with worrying if CIS will throw them out. Invest ten bucks.

Easiest is to go to Walgreens and tell them you need 2 pictures for immigration. They’ve got a screen and know the specs. If you don’t have a Walgreens, at least one place at the local mall should have it. $10 for 2 pics. Not cheap, but a onetime expense.

hi all,

I got my approval yesterday 05/24. I am waiting for my papers. Does anyone know how many days it takes for the approval to come. I am hoping if I get my papers by thursday then I will go on friday to chicago office.

Does anyone who has been there have anything to share that can help me.

My personal experience has always beer 4 days. Whether it was a EAD, plastic card, approval notice etc., it took 4 days from the approval date (which I’d usually find online) till I received the documents.

No experience with the Chicago office. But, if they’re anything like most places, go early and stand in line.
