Question on 485, About REF's and use of AC21.

Hi Friends,
I have question on 485, please help to understand more.

1. What are the possible REF that can come on 485 ?


2. If we change company using AC21, if there is REF where it will go, to Old or new company?


Please throw your experiences.

--- Anyone can get a RFE. Nobody is excluded from that possibility.

Please just do not answer for sake of answering, Please read the question. I am asking what are the possible causes of REF.

Examples: Company's ablity to pay, eduaction qualifications etc. so i am asking what kind of REF people in this forum got or heard.

I hope it is clear now, if it was not clear I am sorry.
I just want to know possible kinds of REF, so that we can do more analysis on case and get prepared.

RFE, as the name explains, could be anything related to the infomation you provided in I-485 and associated forms + attached documents. For example, your job information (if your current emloyer is your GC sonsorer then current salary/paystubs, position/title etc), birth certificate (or affidavits/non-availability certificate), past visa status or legal immigration status (previous H1/L1 approvals/LCAs, tax returns, I-94s).
Or it could be due to any I-485 requirement which you failed to provide with your initial I-485 application (for example, medical report, company job offer/letter, proper birth certificate).

There are some RFE threads available in various subforums (like in California subforum). Search them.
