I received my letter to attend the Oath ceremony in Philly tomorrow (Sept 1), and it says to "Report to Station B for processing".

Does anyone know what that means? Is there a place/room in the Pennsylvania Convention Center called "Station B"?

I'm confused, and not sure I know where I'm going. Someone please help!

Thanks :)

Station B ? hmm isnt that the one after Station A ? :D
Okay kidding aside, while I have not heard of a place called Station B, if you do not receive other responses from more experienced philly oathtakers in the forum then I have a couple of suggestions -
1.) Try calling (215) 656-7178 - this no belongs to the philly DO and is for people asking about when and where their oath ceremonies are going to be held. I tried this number once and it went to a voice mail, perhaps you may have better luck
2.) See if a google search brings anything up regarding standard philly naturalization locations.

How did you know it might be in the Philly Convention Center, did the letter say station B in PCC ? If so then chances are station B might be a room that will be labeled there, or atleast there might be immig. staff out there who might help you.

Regards

go to their website

My oath letter states to report to Station D ! :)
I guess they have different reporting stations for processing and the event is to be held in the Grand hall on 2nd level.
Go to the web site of the location and you can see different levels with virtual tour of the Grand Hall itself !!
I was there a couple of days ago just to find out more about entrances and parking etc.
Parking is extremely difficult and there are a few expensive and also some shady lots around the center. I spoke to 2 of the security staff as to where to enter from etc and they suggested 12th and Arch Entrance . Also there were various signs on closed doors to direct people to use 12th and Arch entrances.
This is a very congested area of the city and it can be overwhelming to find one's way around.

If you need help, try calling the event number from the website, the staff is very helpful and polite.

Hope this helps and Good Luck !!
Maybe we'll see each other in the melee. :)

Thank you both!! I suspected that the "station B" might refer to a place to report within the building, and I think you confirmed my suspicion. I did the virtual tour, and I feel more comfortable around there now.

Since I've been to the INS building on Callowhill about 4 times now, I think I'll be parking at my favorite lot on Race and 15th Streets, and walking to the convention center from there...which means I am leaving *now* to get there on time!

I'm so excited!! WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!

Later,
