I am a consultant and my contract is ending in one month. I got the Green Card Stamping (Thank God) done last week in Chicago. My wife\'s green Card is based on my I 485 application and she is still waiting for approval. My company might lay me off or I might leave the consulting company if I end up on Bench. In either case, will it effect in anyway my wife\'s I-485 approval if I am no longer working for my current company???? I am not sure whether anyone of you or your friends had gone thru this situation, but any help is greatly appreciated..
