Question ? H4 During 485 process

Do a dependent extend his/her H4 status during the 485 process. Is AP is sufficient for this. What about I-94 if it expires in between and person is not travelling outside U.S during this time.

No need to extend. If that person has AP they can travel in and out. I-94 expiry is all right as the ap will suffice.
